Rules & Regulations:

•Participants will be challenged to dance to whatever the music will be played by the DJ.

•The music genre will change for each pair of dancers and can range from any genre of music such as rap, pop, break beats, funk, electronica, house music, etc.

•During the preliminary rounds, the DJ will play one song for each round.

•A qualifying round may become necessary.

•Each dancer / group of dancers in the preliminary battles will have two rounds of 45 seconds each to dance ~ 1.5 minutes total

•Judges will choose one pair from each battle to advance to the next round until the battle progresses to two final pairs.

•In the final battle, the remaining 2 dancers/group will have 2 rounds of 1 minute each to impress the judges.

•Each dancer / group will be judged on the following:

  Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & originality) – 50%
  Execution (Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression) – 30%
  Costume – 10%
  Audience Impact – 10%
